As an important actuator component in the automation system, pneumatic actuator mainly relies on the automatic control system for switch operation, but in order to meet the needs of maintenance, emergency handling, etc., a manual switch function is usually designed. According to different types of actuator structures, the specific methods of manual switch are also different, mainly as follows:

1. Handle operation
Some pneumatic actuators are equipped with a manual control hand column or handle on the outer shell. The operator can manually switch the switch state of the internal air valve by turning the handle to control the actuator. This method is simple and intuitive to operate.

2. Knob switch
Some actuators will have a knob switch on the outer shell. By rotating this switch, the state of the actuator can be switched, such as manual/automatic, on/off, etc., which is convenient for on-site personnel to temporarily intervene in the operation.

3. Manually operated screw
For cylinder actuators, a rotatable operating screw is usually installed on the cylinder body. By turning the screw, the piston rod can be directly pushed to make it reciprocate in a straight line, thereby manually controlling the switch state of the actuator.

4. Emergency stop button
Important pneumatic actuators are also equipped with emergency stop buttons for safety reasons. Pressing the emergency stop button can cut off the air supply of the entire pneumatic system and stop the actuator immediately.

5. Manual reversing valve
In the pneumatic control circuit, a manual reversing valve can be installed. The operator switches the valve position to control the air flow direction, thereby realizing the manual switch operation of the actuator.
It should be noted that when using a manual switch, you must first consult the manual to understand the specific operating steps, pay attention to operating safety, and avoid personal injury and equipment damage.
