Actuators are an indispensable structure in the process of industrial production automation. They are used frequently and are prone to failure due to high temperature, high pressure and serious social and environmental problems, resulting in the need for maintenance. Actuator power includes electric, pneumatic and hydraulic, but here we mainly introduce the fault and maintenance management methods of the pneumatic actuator system. The analysis results are as follows.
Pneumatic actuator failures include blockage, leakage, and burned control coils. Here, we will briefly analyze the problems that arise in the repair method based on these three basic conditions.
The pneumatic actuator is stuck. Disassemble the actuator, check for sticking, analyze and reassemble.
Check whether the pneumatic actuator is leaking or the valve stem is leaking. Check whether the sealing sleeve is damaged. If it is damaged, it should be replaced in time. It will directly affect the function of the component and must be replaced. If the seal is damaged, causing leakage, check the piston or check whether there is any impurity in the piston. Rings and lubricating parts are replaceable. There is also the problem of coil aging and deterioration, so you can use a multimeter to judge after powering on.
