Maintenance and Care Instructions
- Ensure the entire pneumatic instrument control system is in normal working condition by inspecting the pneumatic actuators at least once a month and performing maintenance annually. Keep the exterior of the actuators clean, free from dust accumulation, and oil contamination.
- Ensure proper sealing of the actuators with intact, secure, and tight seals on all sealing surfaces and points.
- Regularly inspect all parts of the cylinders and air pipe system for any air leaks at pipe connections. Maintain normal air source pressure, ensuring no dents in the air pipes and keeping them unobstructed.
- During maintenance, inspect and clean the cylinder sleeves and pistons. Promptly replace damaged or aging O-rings. Lubricate the cylinder walls and O-ring grooves with lubricating oil during assembly and slowly insert the piston into the cylinder to avoid damaging the O-ring seals.
- For pneumatic valves with pneumatic/manual switching devices, ensure proper lubrication of the manual operating mechanism, with flexible opening and closing. Apply sufficient lubricating grease every three months or six months to bearings and other transmission parts on the switching shaft.
- Maintain the air source pressure within the range of 0.2-1.0 MPa (G), and purify the air source through dust removal and dehumidification treatments. Regularly drain and discharge water from the air filters matched with the actuators to prevent entering the solenoid valves and actuators, affecting normal operation.
- Ensure the electrical signals are free from missing phases, short circuits, or open circuit faults, and the connections of the protective joints of the shell are tight and secure to prevent water and dust erosion.
- The packing gland cover should not be skewed to prevent friction against the valve stem, causing the actuator to malfunction or not operate properly.
