G series pneumatic actuator

Scotch fork pneumatic actuator is a pneumatic actuator used to drive valves or other mechanical equipment. It is widely used in industrial automation, petrochemical, environmental protection, water supply and drainage and other industries, especially suitable for large valve systems that require precise control.

The working principle of scotch fork pneumatic actuator is based on the drive of air pressure difference. When the air source enters one end of the actuator, the air pressure pushes the piston to move in the cylinder, driving the scotch fork part to rotate or produce linear displacement. In this way, the scotch fork converts pneumatic energy into mechanical motion, thereby controlling the opening and closing of the valve.

The structure of the scotch fork pneumatic actuator includes the housing, scotch fork mechanism, cylinder, piston, spring return device, etc. Each structure has its own characteristics and is indispensable. These structural features include:

1. Housing:

* Usually made of aluminum alloy or steel, with good strength and corrosion resistance. The housing usually has a threaded interface or flange for connecting to the valve.

2. Fork mechanism:

* This is the core component of the fork pneumatic actuator. The fork structure provides torque through the pneumatic control device to drive the rotation or linear movement of the valve.

* Usually composed of one or more forks, which will move in the actuator as the air pressure changes, converting the air pressure into mechanical movement.

3. Cylinder:

* The cylinder is the power source of the actuator, usually a cylindrical structure with a piston inside. The gas pressure in the cylinder acts on the piston, pushing the piston to move, thereby making the fork mechanism work.

* The air pressure in the cylinder is controlled by the air inlet at both ends. The air inlet is connected to the air source, which can be compressed air.

4. Piston:

* The piston moves axially inside the cylinder, affected by the change in air pressure. When the air pressure increases, the piston pushes the fork mechanism, driving the movement of the valve.

5. Spring return device:

* In order to ensure that the actuator can return to its original position when the air supply is lost, a spring return device is usually provided. The spring provides force according to the position of the piston, so that the actuator will automatically return to its original position when the air supply stops.

6. Transmission part:

* The transmission part connected to the yoke transmits the movement of the actuator to the valve or other operating mechanical equipment. Usually, these transmission parts are connected to components such as valve stems, gears, couplings, etc. to ensure accurate and reliable movement.

7. Valve connection:

* The actuator is connected to the driving part of the valve through a set of connectors (such as flanges, bolts, etc.) to transmit rotational or linear motion from the pneumatic system.

The structural advantages of the yoke-type pneumatic actuator are fast response speed, high control accuracy, and stable operation in harsh environments.
