ZH Series Double Acting Single Piston with Overhead Side Mounted Manual Pneumatic Actuator

ZH series valve pneumatic actuator uses 0.4~0.6 MPa (gauge pressure) purified compressed air as working power to push the piston and drive the valve gate (wedge gate valve, flat gate valve, knife gate valve, globe valve, etc.) to do linear motion perpendicular to the fluid, so as to achieve the purpose of adjusting, opening and closing the valve. ZH pneumatic actuator has been widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power and other industries as a pipeline flow control device for transporting gas and liquid media.

Double acting - Overhead Side Mounted Manual (TM3)

After connecting the valve to the pneumatic actuator, start with manual operation. Close the air supply, open the balance valve (if any), and switch the handle from the "Pneumatic" to the "Manual" position. Occasionally, the handle may jam (gears not engaging properly), requiring back-and-forth rotation of the handwheel until the handle switches to the "Manual" position.

In manual mode, rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to open the valve (OPEN), and clockwise to close the valve (CLOSE). Verify that the manual actuator's operation matches the actual state to prevent misoperation.

After confirming correct manual operation, proceed with pneumatic operation. Close the balance valve (if any) and switch the handle from the "Manual" to the "Pneumatic" position. Occasionally, the handle may jam (gears not engaging properly), requiring back-and-forth rotation of the handwheel until the handle switches to the "Pneumatic" position. Open the air supply for pneumatic valve control.
